Quiddler Rules (Summary)
8 hands: 3–10 cards per hand (3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10).
On your turn: draw 1 (deck or discard), arrange words, discard 1.
To go out: use all cards in one or more valid words, then discard.
Valid words: at least 2 cards, must be in the dictionary; no proper nouns, prefixes, suffixes, abbreviations, or hyphenated words.
Scoring: used cards add points; unused cards subtract, but you can't go below zero (except challenge penalties).
Bonuses: 10 points for longest word (most letters) and 10 for most words; no bonus in case of tie.
Solo mode: invalid words are automatically penalized, each extra draw applies a 2-point penalty (first draw each hand is free), and using exactly one scoring word in a hand gives a 10-point bonus.
